Gyensophodrang isan old age home for retired monks. Study Tour is an important component of academic programme in Ugyen Academy,

especially tailored to provide opportunity for our junior students to directly interact, explore, experience and learn from beyond the four walls

of their classrooms.  Besides academic objectives, this study tour was designed to involve our students in understanding the emotional needs

The Annual Subject Exhibition was held on 7th October for the academic year of 2017. Classes XII and X were involved in the exhibition centralised on the theme 'Small is Beautiful'. Subject exhibition is an important academic activity, emphasising more on the goals of 'Learning by doing'. It is a part and parcel of school's culture which provides an avenue for students to exhibit their academic innovation and talents. The annual event brought in an unxpected pool of students intereacting, comprehending, interrogating and analysing on the respective subjects. What astonished the expectators was the integrity shown by students, the inquisitive nature that was never anticipated and the role played by students as tutors for eachother. With unbeatable level of creativity and innovation displayed on Saturday, the subject exhibiton stretched two days straight and concluded on Monday.
