Sangita Monger, our exceptional UAWFC goalkeeper released to represent Transport United Football Club-TUFC, has made not only UA and TUFC but the entire nation proud with her powerhouse performance. She earned the prestigious Player of the Match award in the match between APF Club, Nepal and Transport United Ladies FC, Bhutan on December 11, 2025, at the ongoing SAFF Women’s Championship 2025. Her brilliance between the posts continues to inspire and uplift the UA family.

Our UAFC Head Coach, together with the UA players released to represent Thimphu City Football Club, have made us immensely proud by emerging as the historic champions of the Bhutan–India Friendship Association (BIFA) Open Football Tournament in Samdrupjongkhar. Their teamwork, discipline, and outstanding performance have brought honor to both the club and the UA family.

Beyond the exhibition, the event spotlighted clean energy advocacy by GYA students. Visitors were delighted by the “Nim-Duel” – a Korean solar-lit cottage featuring a fuel-efficient Gue-dul heating system.

UA Family attends the Phobjikha Tsechu, giving our student leaders and Class VII students the opportunity to witness sacred dances — including the revered dance of the Black-Necked Crane.
It was also the occasion to hand over the solar lighting contribution to the Lam and Gup of Phobjikha.

A salute to Team Phobjikha for a brilliant match — football reminds us that anything can happen, and today, it was UA’s day.

We also thank Dasho Dzongda for gracing the UA Annual Swimming Gala 2025 in the morning and the PCS Golden Jubilee Finals 2025 later in the day.
And above all, Bravo to Team UA for successfully hosting the one and only school-run Swimming Gala in Bhutan.

UA proudly hosted sixteen elite pickleball coaches from the United States

UA proudly hosted sixteen elite pickleball coaches from the United States for an intensive training program led by Team Pickleball and Ms. Katherine. Another meaningful stride in Bhutan’s growing global sports partnerships. On the same day, UA welcomed students and faculty from St. Mildred’s Lightbourn School and Havergal College, Canada, for the 3rd International Student Exchange Program.
Thank you to the Bhutan Canada Foundation and our partner schools for the enriching collaboration and the generous book donations to our new library.
