28^thFebruary, 2010	A new academic record: the only school to have 4 toppers out of the 9 overall national level position holders (all three streams) in BHSEC 2009.
12^th February, 2010	Makes history for the private schools by being in the top 5 schools in terms of academic ranking - BCSE 2009
14 ^th March, 2010	UA Family sponsors the Baza Guru Prayers at Gurulhakhang, Khuruthang.

20 ^th -23 ^rd May,2010	Punakha Dzongkhag Schools Sports Meet. UA sweeps almost all the winners’ trophies.
16 ^th July,2010	UA hosted dinner to the volunteers of the Sherubtse College on mission to bring awareness about Climate Change.
22 ^th July,2010	The Secretary General of the KOBA Dr. Kisoo Kim and members awarded the most deserving teachers of Ugyen Academy Mr Kumar Pradhan and Mr Prakash Chhetri. KOBA also awarded scholarships to two deserving Students of UA,Kinley Tshering Chimi
24 ^th July,2010	Bhutanese actor Mr. Kelley Dorji presented a Compound Microscope to UA on behalf of Hiroshi Kanamori, President, Japan Chapter,The Bhutan Drangon Motor Cycle Club.
